Ride Better
Make New Friends
Looking to take your riding to the next level—mentally and physically? Ready to connect with fellow horse lovers in the greater Atlanta area?
Join us this summer for an inspiring 8-week book club experience via Zoom and at Revelation Farm, Canton, Ga., where we’ll dive into the great book Inside Your Ride by Tonya Johnston, make new horse-loving friends, and have lots of fun!
This unique club is designed for riders of all levels who want to build confidence, sharpen focus, manage nerves, and grow as equestrians—both in and out of the saddle.
Each weekly session includes thoughtful group discussion, practical unmounted and optional mounted exercises (you perform these at your own home, on your own time), and time to reflect and connect with others who share your love of horses.
Whether your goals include showing, enjoying a more relaxed ride, or simply becoming more self-aware in the saddle, this book club will give you the tools—and the community—to support your journey. Plus, you’ll form meaningful connections with other local riders who truly “get it.”
Sessions run weekly from June 5 through August 1 (we’ll take a break during the week of July 4). Space is limited, so be sure to reserve your spot soon!

No, you actually do not need to be an expert. Even if you are new to riding, the topics we cover will be applicable to your riding situation. Of course, intermediate and expert riders will also derive a great deal from the topics we cover. Plus, everyone can make new friends through the book club!
Most of our club meetings will be held via the Microsoft Teams online meeting platform (this platform is very similar to Zoom, and we'll help you get set up if you aren't using it already). A few of the meetings, however, will take place at Revelation Farm in Canton, Georgia.
Each meeting runs for about one hour.
Each participant will need to either purchase a copy of the book or get it on loan from the library.
Wine (ages 21+ only), charcuterie, and water will be provided.
In case of storms, please call 404-219-1266 to verify that event is still being held. Since we will be meeting in the climate-controlled lounge at the farm, we generally will not cancel. However, if the event is cancelled due to weather, it will most likely be held via the Microsoft Teams meeting. However, please call 404-219-1266 to verify this.
